Marshall hat-trick stuns Gorseinon ( By South Wales Evening Post )

Kidwelly are the new leaders in One West after a stunning salvo to beat Gorseinon 43-7.

Flying wing Luke Marshall inspired the win with a hat-trick, while skipper Andy Francis and fellow wing Adam Davies also got in on the act. Fly-half Steff Marshall added 18 points with the boot. Matthew Stoneham replied with a consolation try for the visitors.

Felinfoel are second after a crushing 55-17 defeat of basement boys Carmarthen Athletic in a game that saw them score nine times.

Winger Luke Morris and scrum-half Luke Marsh both bagged a brace apiece, while there were also two penalty tries alongside individual efforts from fly-half Aled Roberts, prop Chris Jones and wing Elliott Dawe. Roberts also converted five of the tries to complete the rout.

Morning leaders Tenby United have slipped to third after suffering their first league reverse of the campaign, going down to a 23-21 home loss against Whitland.

Amman United are still searching for their first win of the season after they were beaten 25-7 at home against Newcastle Emlyn. Craig Radcliffe's try for the home side was converted by Joel Foster, although the visitors left with the spoils after tries from Llyr Jones, Viv Jenkins and a penalty try.

Loughor are fifth after beating Llangennech 32-26, despite being outscored four tries to three.

Andrew Banfield, Nick O'Kelly and Ashley Davies all crossed for the home side, with Peter Smiriglia adding a conversion and five penalties.

Llan scored four times to secure two bonus points, with full-back Chris Moore bagging a brace and three conversions in a man-of-the match display. Wing Gethin Long and lock Rhodri Davies also went over, but it couldn't save them from defeat.

Crymych were 22-20 winners at Ammanford. Jake Simm and Craig Woodall crossed for Ammanford with Rhydian Morris kicking two penalties and two conversions.
